Our Story

Feenix Films LLC is an independent film company specializing in character driven stories. We have three feature films and several shorts under our belt, all shot with little or no budget, and predominantly with old or cobbled together equipment. Our next feature film is currently in pre-production and will begin filming in the summer of 2012. Before it begins production, we'd love to upgrade the equipment we have, especially in the areas of lighting and sound. We have a short list of equipment that would work wonders for us, all totaling about $3000 (available upon request), which is the amount we'd like to raise. 

The Impact

We will always strive for artistic quality, and would like to complement that by bringing our technical quality up to that level.  Every one of our artists and tech crew takes great pride in the work we do, and wants that work to be seen & heard by as much of the world as possible.  We want to do right by our Ensemble and our Audience, and a package like this will help tremendously.  Without your support, it could take us years to gather the kind of equipment we need to bring our upcoming projects to the next level. With each project we've moved ourselves up in terms of the quality of our projects.  This equipment boost is the next natural progression for us as a Film Company and we ask that you help us get there.  In order to do that we have some "goodies" for you below !!

What We Need & What You Get

We would like to raise $3000.  This money will go directly to the purchase of the production equipment we so desperately need for our next project filming in the summer of 2012.  If we are unable to raise that much, we will still use the money to purchase whatever equipment we can.  If you're able to help, this is what you get:
