So what are you donating for?

With both the 10th Annual FirstGlance Film Festival Hollywood and the 2nd Annual Streamy Awards hitting town, the weekend of April 9-11th is a big one for independent filmmakers in Los Angeles.

FilmSnobbery Live! – the premiere weekly forum for showcasing truly independent filmmakers – has been invited to cover these important events, but there’s one problem: we’re based in Massachusetts!

WHAT THE FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR:
Your generous donations will go towards coach airfare and modest accommodations for FilmSnobbery host Nic Baisley (http://www.twitter.com/filmsnobbery).

If able to attend, we will provide live coverage of the preparations, events, and after parties, as well as interviews with filmmakers and industry professionals. Both of these events are important moments in the rapidly changing world of independent film, and we feel a strong desire to document them in our unique FilmSnobbery style.

Plus, let’s face it, we’re a web series that reports on independent film… both events are important networking opportunities for us.
