What are your options if you're a poor gitano (Gypsy) boy in Franco's Spain? but if you have a voice? Hijo de Jerez--niñez del cantaor Antonio de la Malena.

Eve Ma's Role: Co-producer, co-director and co-writer with Antonio de la Malena. We conceived of this show through a deep love of flamenco. We're looking at a world that's disappearing--a gitano (Gypsy) world and gitano form of life out of which flamenco grew. We see Franco's Spain from a personal point of view. And we see why Antonio sings the way he does.
