Our Story

"Enter The Dojo" is a new comedy web series about the world of American martial arts schools. Think of it as "The Office" in a dojo.

And please excuse the star of our show. Master Ken is very opinionated. We, the creators of "Enter The Dojo" know that the other videos on this site are not "bullsh*t". But it is exactly that kind of behavior from our star that has made our show so popular in our first few weeks of release!

The Impact

So far we are excited to have gained many fans from around the world who love and support "Enter The Dojo".

The reception of our show has confirmed that there is a consensus about how the "Americanization" of martial arts has created some ridiculous and at times amusing situations and characters that many students and practitioners can relate to. Everyone has met a "Master Ken" at one point. It also seems that many people have studied at what have become known as "McDojo's", or martial arts schools that focus more on marketing and aggressive yet theoretical teachings rather than respect, discipline and humility.

As we continue to produce our show we continue to help the martial arts world laugh, but also to examine the values that should be preserved and promoted in an art form that has been so heavily commercialized through movies, television, video games and franchises.

Master Ken and his students will be making their first public appearance at the Bob White Invitational Karate Tournament in March of 2012 and part of the proceeds from the tournament will help support the Royal Family Kids Camp. We are happy that already we are able to do something to give back to our fans and help children in need.

What We Need & What You Get

Your contributions will help our show immensely. We have many costs we need assistance with to cover the production including equipment rentals, props and costumes, food, and paying our cast and crew. We've paid for these first few episodes out of our own pocket up until now and we can continue to contribute, but when it comes to designing a website for the show or renting lights or creating t-shirts or uniforms every dollar counts so thank you for your help. The bottom line is that every dollar contributed goes towards us giving you fun memorabilia from the show and creating more entertaining episodes for our fans (which hopefully includes you!)
