Emily Reusswig has worked as Executive Director and Company Member of The Inconvenience, Artistic Syndicate, since March 2010, taking it from being an underground arts group to a professional organization that produces all over the city. Since taking a leadership role, The Inconvenience has produced its first theatrical production The Earl, in association with A Red Orchid Theatre, their first dance production, Standing Room Only, as well as a successful music series, A Little Bit Louder Now. 

In addition to her work with The Inconvenience Emily is the Communications Director at Redmoon Theater and has served the organization in many capacities since 2008. In her time at Redmoon she has overseen audience engagement for major outdoor Spectacles, managing an average attendance of 1,000 patrons and 30 staff and volunteers nightly, coordinated Spectacle Lunatique, Redmoons annual benefit, with an annual attendance of 500 of its most avid donors, and plans and implements the annual fundraising appeal. She now has taken on a leadership role in all branding, language and images communicated to Redmoons audience, donor base and major foundations, in addition to all general management responsibilities.

Emily hails from Muscatine, Iowa, is a proud graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University and lover of the peace and quiet of an empty field, despite her city and career choice.
