SYNOPSIS

Our Story

We are a group of filmmakers who have been working on this passion project for the last 8 months. And just recently we held a successful campaign via Kickstarter in which we reached our previous goal of $7,500. This was an amazing accomplishment that can only be attributed to all the gracious donators who had our back and helped us to reach the finish line as well as our dreams in making this movie a reality. But even after all this we unfortunately undershot the amount of money that would be needed to film this entire project. For starters, our original budget set upon reading this script landed between $15,000-$20,000. This amount was calculated based upon locations, stunts, and other varying factors. Yet due to time constraints and our belief that we could get this done by cutting the budget in half we chose to set our goal at $7,500. We did this believing that we could get this film completed as long as all variables went according to plan. But as with life, these variables decided to shift a bit causing a slight detour in "Exit 13". Actor's schedules changed and locations went up in price due to these date changes. In addition, we are filming in a city that thrives on the Entertainment industry, meaning it is a lot harder to receive locations and other much needed assistance without exchanging that green piece of paper. Though we expected this to a certain degree, specific locations have proven to require a bit of a budget re-adjustment.  As of now, we have filmed 5 full days of this movie, and have a little less than a week left to complete this project and that is where your guys come in. In order to lock in the remaining days we have calculated $4,000 to get us there. Totaled with the amount we raised previously we would still be well under the $15,000 mark in order to complete our feature film "Exit 13" and create what we believe will be a Horror Classic for many generations to enjoy or rather fear. Every little bit counts and we appreciate any and all of your support as we continue to live and breathe the art of film.

DIRECTOR

ANDRETTI DANTE was born in San Antonio, TX he first found his love for films when he saw the film Back To The Future at the early age of 7 years old.  After graduating high school Andretti would later attend film school at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL. After graduation Andretti went on to work for Fox News in San Antonio, TX where he became a key member in the San Antonio Spurs pre-game and post game shows, as well as directed numerous local commercials. Andretti left Fox News to focus more on film making, where he then moved to Southern California and has been leaving a mark on the Indie film community and has been entertaining the masses through his making of numerous short films, dozens of music videos, and a few feature films.

SHAUN FLETCHER is an American actor and screenwriter. He graduated from Florida International University in Miami, receiving a degree in Liberal Studies/Psychology. Originally from FL, Shaun made the long journey to L.A. in order to pursue his love and passion for the arts. Since being here Shaun has worked on a multitude of short films as well as multiple Independent features.?

As mentioned above your donation will make sure "Exit 13" get's completed and in the can. Every bit donated  will go towards finishing out our final filming days that we have left for this project. The impact of your donation is hard to sum up in words but please know that every cent given feeds our dream and will give light and breath to "Exit 13" as well as help to support the many people that have dedicated the last 8 months to getting this project off the ground.

What We Need & What You Get

The $4,000 that we are asking for in this campaign, will come in addition to the $8200 we have already raised for this project and will be applied mostly towards the remaining locations that need to be locked down, including the main cabin for "Exit 13", which has already been scouted and negotiated. As well as the Gas Station, main "Exit 13" vehicle, gas for the road trip scenes, food for the cast and crew, and special effects needed for the horrific happenings that occur along this Exit. Even if we do not reach the full $4000, every bit will get us that much closer to securing the remaining locations needed in getting this movie finished. Each donation counts and even if we do not reach the full $4000 we will find a way to finish this movie for every contributor, fan, and individual to enjoy. As mentioned previously "Exit 13" has already started filming, so please be assured that your donation will be used, even if the goal is not met, in completing this film and it DOES help. 

And for your gracious donation and support of our film we have included some great perks which can be found on the right hand side. These include but are not limited to official script signed by the writers, a Skype chat with your favorite character, VIP Party invites, signed memorabilia from the official set of "Exit 13", Team Packets from your favorite character with slogans such as "Team Adam", "Team Madison", and etc.
