EMBRYO

Embryo | Interdisciplinary Theatre Project about the Human vs. Technologic

178948

The relationship between Human and Technology is the core of this project, provisory called EMBRYO.
We want to trace the paths in which this relationship sets and above all draw the possibility of an eventual technologic preponderance.
Aware that this reflection has a history, which Cinema and Literature have often brought up to life, we want, from a universe that belongs to several authors (like Philip K. Dick, William Gibson, Stanislaw Lem, Aldous Huxley) and movie makers (like Chris Marker, Michael Anderson, Franois Truffaut amongst others) and that is apparently averse to the performing arts, to build a interdisciplinary performance that breaks down its own difficulties regarding the gender issue of the subject being explored.
We want to build up the project in a logic of complementarity and fluidity of the various disciplines and aspects involved, taking full advantage of the available technology and digital creation.
In order to create a technologically appealing universe that triggers the visionary nature of the influences we have assumed, weve called accomplices of different fields concerning the Digital Media to join this collective speculation about our own future.
