Although Yousuf, 9, is told to watch his disabled brother Ishmael, 13, he takes off when he hears that there is a sword swallower in the town square. Mesmerized, Yousuf wants to bring his brother to see the fire juggling Gypsy. The saga of carrying him up the slanted alley ways and steep staircases begins, but when they finally make it, the show has ended and no one is there. For the first time, however, Ishmael sees the breath taking view of their valley.
