Our Story

Producer Christine Barger and writer Jeremiah Lutes met after moving from the midwest to Los Angeles to pursue their dreams of creating impactful and fun stories to bring smiles to the faces of audiences.  They decided to team up and create a feature film based on a legend from Christine's hometown...The Legend of Dog Face Bridge. 

It is a fun and exciting horror adventure that takes place in a small town in the midwest.

What We Need & What You Get

$10,000 is the budget for our cast.  According to the SAG union rules, all actors must be paid a minimum of $100 per day.  That amount would pay for 10 actors for 10 days if they all agree to work for scale.

Once we get initial funding, we can approach potential executive producers to obtain additional funding.  We realize that it may be a lofty goal to obtain our entire budget from the generous donations of supporters like you.  That is why we only set our goal to the initial $10,000.  By all means, if you'd like to prove me wrong and surpass our goal to meet our actual budget of $45,000 I would be shocked and excited.

As a thank you for your donations we have added a few incentives.

$10 donation - An official thank you on our facebook page.

$25 donation - An official thank you on our facebook page & official DogFace Bridge the movie Dog Tag.

$40 donation - A Special Thanks credit in the movie & IMDB page.  A 20 minute one on one Skype (or phone if USA) consultation or acting coaching session with Producer/Actress Christine Barger.  DVD of the completed movie.

$50 donation - A Special Thanks credit in the movie & IMDB page.  An official thank you on our facebook page, official DogFace Bridge the movie Dog Tag, and DVD of the completed movie.  ***A 30 minute one on one Skype (can also choose phone if USA or 'in person' if you're local we can meet at a North Hollywood Starbucks) career consultation or acting coaching with Producer/Actress Christine Barger.***

$100 donation - A Special Thanks credit in the movie & IMDB page.  An official thank you on our facebook page, official DogFace Bridge the movie Dog Tag, and DVD of the completed movie.  Also a special personally created THANK YOU youtube video just for you by producer and actress Christine Barger.

$1000 donation - ASSOCIATE PRODUCER CREDIT in the movie & IMDB.  2 tickets to the Cast & Crew Screening.  An official thank you on our facebook page, official DogFace Bridge the movie Dog Tag, and DVD of the completed movie.  

$10,000 donation - EXECUTIVE PRODUCER CREDIT in the movie & IMDB.  Tickets for yourself and up to 5 guests to the Cast & Crew Screening. Also a few dog tags for yourself and friends and a DVD of the completed movie.

About the Producer

Christine Barger was born and raised in Indiana.  She began performing ventriloquism at the age of 7.  She discovered her natural gift as a result of losing her baby brother at an early age.  Making her imaginary friends talk was her way of coping.  

She then began helping others through her grief camp performances and sharing her story.  Christine took this tragedy and transformed it into her passion of helping others by making them smile.

She's also volunteered with several non-profit organizations.  She began teaching acting and improv comedy as a way to help both kids and adults improve their self-esteem, public speaking and teamwork skills.

Her film and TV credits include Dexter, Pulse, American Pie: Beta House, Made of Honor, Ghost Whisperer, Party Down and more.  She has been seen as a comic ventriloquist on USA's Character Road Trip, The Tom Joyner Show, Last Call with Carson Daly and many live venues.
