Passion was ditched in favor of familiar routines. But they remain faithful because they make each other laugh and because no one ever said happily ever after meant happily ever always.

But when Emily stumbles across a graphic novel Jared is working on, she’s confronted with visual proo ... (read more)

HOW THESE FUNDS WILL BE USED
How can $20 really help fund a movie?

On a nano-budget movie like "Did You Kiss Anyone?" we aim to do things as efficiently as possible, making every dollar count. So what would your twenty dollars provide for the movie?

1. Enough paper to print out 20 copies of the screenplay, as well as 20 copies of the production schedule (although we only print when necessary and prefer to use PDF copies until we are actually on location).

2. Enough digital video tape to cover 3-5 days of shooting, or 5 hours of raw footage.

3. Enough food to feed two cast or crew members for a day of shooting. We will try to hire anorexic actors to cut down on food costs (just kidding!).

4. Enough computer disk space to store the final project.

5. Enough DVD-R media to create 80 screener copies to send to film festivals, or enough postage to mail over 30 screener copies to festivals.

Think of all of the items above as being on a checklist of things we need in order to make the movie. Your $20 contribution takes one thing off the list. Your $100 donation takes everything above off the list.

Not only can you go to sleep at night with a smile on your face, knowing you helped produce a low-budget feature film, but you can check your inbox in the morning to see the latest dispatches from the set, post-production studio, or festival circuit.

This is your movie too and our goal is to keep you in touch every step of the way.

This initial round of funding will go toward food. Food, or if we want to get fancy, Catering. Or really fancy, Craft Service.

Our first milestone in making sure this movie gets made is making sure everyone gets fed. All the fancy equipment in the world won’t keep people from getting hungry.

If we can raise $5,000, it will inspire other people to donate as well. Your future grandchildren will be so proud. Do you want to tell them, “Once I bought coffee everyday for a week” or “Once I was a visionary investor in that movie just released on the Criterion Collection..."
