Denny Anderson's "Reality Check World Tour" Comedy Show
I intend to WIN both The San Francisco & Seattle International Comedy Competitions 2011
Hi! We all have seen the comics who come along and be honest. George Carlin, Bill Cosby...But how many of them have 251 different personalities waiting to tell the audience that they NEED to go home and tell little Johnny and little Suzie that Santa is a lie, and is really designed to create control of them, and all the other little truths invloved with this and other things, like The Tooth Fairy, The Easter Bunny, and any other social activity that is dishonest. I am one who does. A funny look at reality is what I provide as an expert story teller!

I have performed Stand Up comedy beginning in the early 1980's, progressed to starring in a local TV show in CA for 4 years{I included clips from youtube}, and have developed and managed 2 different improvisation comedy groups.
My "World Tour" act is designed to be a stand up headline performance that I will use in both, The 32nd Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition, in November 2011, AND The San Francisco International Comedy Competition, coming in September of 2011.
Last year Auggie Smith won both contest's, and I would love to be in the way of his follow through @ his attempt to a repeat.
I know and acknowlage the huge task of winning , not one, but 2 major comedy competitions, but this is mearly motivation, and the reason I would solicit funding. To be able to FOCUS!
I am currently performing my act in Trinidad Colorado, where I reside, but need to relocate to Seattle & begin to perform at the local scenes where I will be in competition. There is a huge coincedience in all of this is. The First club I ever performed stand up at, is in Seattle, at Swannies Underground Comedy. My intention is to start there with Open Mic Night, and progress into the other clubs in the area.
The funds generated from this post will be for living expenses and relocation to the theater of operations in Seattle, as well as travel to San Francisco to establish myself in that area as well. Once established in the comedy circut, I should be able to generate income, and will become more self sufficient. But focus and promotion of my act will be critical, and I need to not worry about when I will have income to cover this that and the other. And your investment in this act will provide me with that.

The Seattle Intl. Comedy Competition will have a "standard setter" in this years competition...ME!
The Seattle International Comedy Competition will have a new winner...ME!
This competition will launch my artistic talent into a brand recognized product that will generate above average income in this arena for me and my loyal friends.
What We Need & What You Get
I have no agent as yet, so a portion of this funding will go toward generating promotional material, such as Head Shot's, Demo Reel, thus procuring a qualified agent to book my act in local clubs once relocated to Seattle.
A portion of this will be used for relocating to, and transportation cost's in the Seattle area. I have at my disposal a lodging arrangment with my youngest Son who lives in Vancouver WA. but will still have to provide him with a stipend for this lodging, and I will be providing for my own meals so a portion of the funding will go toward my living expenses.
I estimate a time line to become more self sufficient to be 3 months. It is now Feb. I would like to be able to relocate in March with this funding. The audition process for the Seattle competition will be in June. I intend to be up and running before that date.
