We're honored to have Roberta Munroe as Consulting Producer on our project.  Having spent several years as a Short Film Programmer at Sundance and author of How Not To Make A Short Film: Secrets From a Sundance Programmer, she brings a wealth of knowledge and resources to the project that I believe will serve to ensure the film excels.

To make a professional high-standard quality award-winning film, this project requires a sizable budget.  Our campaign goal reflects approximately one-half of our need.  The team is in position.   The next step is funding 100%, to start shooting no later than March 2011.

Reaching, and exceeding, our total project goal in a couple months might seem impossible to some, but I believe in impossibilities. Will you believe with me?

ABOUT THE PROJECT

I set out to write a short without dialogue. Little did I know how challenging that is! A year later I have an experimental psychodrama that Im passionate about and really want to shoot because I believe the visual design of Denied will pull the creative talent out of a crew, dynamic performances from the actors, and give the audience an unforgettable experience.

ABOUT THE STORY

Faith is tested and a couple becomes polarized in a story about devotion, revelation, and developing a relationship with someone you love.

Denied is how SIMON and his wife, CLAUDIA, deal with belief. He has bizarre dreams when she prays for him, and his consistent rejection of her invitations to fellowship leads him to a final decision about death and faith.

HOW WILL FUNDS BE USED?

100% of funds raised are allocated to production, marketing, and promotions which is not limited to: casting talent, hiring crew, hair/make-up, wardrobe, lighting, camera, sound, transportation, set design/operations/dressing, props, FX (visual and optical), securing locations, media, editorial, music, insurance, etc.  Principle photography will begin once our project is completely funded.

**VIP Perks will be rewarded upon completion of post-production which could take several months.
