Our Story

If you see the group of young filmmakers that are a part of this project it will give you a fresh sense of pride in American filmmaking.  We are a diverse group of students that have assembled from all parts of the world with an ambitious plan to shoot a very exciting short film called "Deadly Silence".  Victor Pukhalsky is a very level headed and mature director that has a natural ability to collaborate his thoughts and ideas with others.  This always proves to be a very helpful trait in the filmmaking industry.

"Deadly Silence" the SHORT FILM is based on a true story out of California.  Brian Crow, a 39 year old man loses control, but could have been spared along with his victims.  Every week Brian gathers scrap metal at his electric company and buys BBQ items at the end of the week for everyone to share.  Brian's boss Richard has a drug addiction problem and has it out for Brian so he gets him fired on a technicality.  When Richard found out that Brian has found a better job he immediately calls his new boss and gets him fired AGAIN.  At this point Brian's life is falling apart because his wife has cancer and he has been going through a lot of emotional stress.  Brian finally snaps.  He calls Richard at his office and alerts him that he will be on the way to confront him and Richard leaves the office like a coward.  When Richard left the office he did not alert anyone that Brian is on the way which leads to the real tragedy of this story.....

The Impact

The impact of this campaign is huge in the sense that it addresses a major problem within the American work place.  We are aiming to bring light to a serious problem such as leaders using their position to attain pleasure, profit, or in this case, personal safety.  We'd like people to feel a sense of social responsibility when leaving this short film.  It is a problem that we've all seen on the news, but many Americans have lived through this type of tragedy first hand.
