Leigh is a young, hip artist, immigrant to San Francisco. In her quest to discover whom she is and what she wants to do with her life she has fallen on hard times. She is living beyond her means, lacks meaningful relationships and is slipping deeper into the seedy underbelly of the city. She is getting heavily into recreational drug use and has been letting older men supplement her income. She lives in a fancy apartment and has become accustomed to having nice things. Still, she is embarrassed by her life and either hides or makes excuses for her behavior.

Leigh sinks deeper and deeper into her psyche and her personal demons begin to surface. She is struggling to finish a huge painting that represents the different paths she has taken in her life. She has waking dreams that are escapes into her painting and they are revealing the path she is meant to travel.

The film ends as she has a final dream in which she walks onto a moving train filled with snow, red roses, and her dead mother. Did she commit suicide or has she found redemption? Are they one and the same?

this is a short film script with a feature attached.
