Dark Highlands Anthology is a literary and art publication that showcases regional writers and artists. We specialize in horror, dark fantasy, and supernatural short fiction, as well as art and poetry that fall under those categories.
Our aim is to give writers, poets, and artists specializing in materials with darker subject matter a forum in which to present their work through both print and digital means. We believe in the promotion of regional visual and literary artists and aim to support them by raising awareness of their creations.
We make no profit on submission fees or donations all funding goes entirely towards paying for content and printing. In addition, 25% of all Anthology sales revenue is donated to arts, literary, and theatrical groups twice per year. All other Anthology sales revenue is retained by Dark Highlands in order to help fund future creative projects. We are striving to avoid paid advertizing, which will only be considered as a last resort.
