Seven Psychology Graduates from London embark on a trip to France with their actions dictated by the rolls of a die a la the cult novel The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart. The architect of this bizarre holiday experiment is the charismatic and manipulative Z whose undisclosed aim it is to subjugate and control the others for no discernable reasons other than he wants to prove to himself that he can and also indulge his ever-present Messiah complex. Once in France, Z turns the die rolling in on the individuals of the group resulting in psychological torture, violence, rape, suicide and murder. Following the darkly comic, surreal lead of the novel The Dice Man itself, Die is a disturbing descent into what lies beneath the outward veneer of humanity that will not only keep the audience guessing to the very end but keep them awake at night long after the closing credits have rolled.
