Sean Rowe is a freelance editor by trade. He has also taken an interest in writing.
A native from the East Coast (Ellicott City, Maryland), Sean Rowe holds a passion for storytelling. Whether it’s developing a script or editing a film…he loves stories in every shape or form.
His passion to become a storyteller began when he was eight years old and saw his first movie, Masters of the Universe (1987 science fiction/fantasy film, starring Dolph Lundgren). He knows that’s cliche’ but to an 8 year old thats the most badass thing in the world! As a child and during his adolescence, he took an interest in acting and participated in many eclectic roles. He received his B.F.A. with a minor in film from Montclair State University in New Jersey.
Shortly after graduating, he worked for CENTERSTAGE and THE HERITAGE THEATER COMPANY for several years as a regional actor in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas. Furthermore, he decided to pursue his M.F.A. in Editing at Chapman University in California. While pursing his Masters at Chapman, he had the opportunity to participate in several competitive internship programs at well-known production companies such as, HBO and OZLA Pictures.
Sean has studied under the mentorship of Tom Mankiewicz, David Worth, John Badham D.G.A, and Paul Seydor, A.C.E.
Sean is familiar with the entire Post-Production workflow process. He has strong knowledge of AVID (Composer and Nitris), FINAL CUT PRO, PRO TOOLS, and working knowledge of LUSTRE, AFTER EFFECTS, and ADOBE PHOTOSHOP.
He has also taken an interest in the ANIMATION field with programs such as MAYA and POSER.
