Our Story

My name is Rhys MT, and when I was 8yrs old - everything in the world was Multicoloured. I truly believed that there was a place called Multicoloured Land where below the surface of anything - was a million and one different colours. If I saw a rabbit, a house, a car, a man, a woman in fact anything I could dream of I saw in Multicolours

Then when I was 12, a teacher pointed out that there were only three prime colours in the world, and all the colours were made up of these, so my dreams of Multicolours shattered into a million different pieces

My childhood ended then

Now I'm trying to get the Colour back, and to reawaken Multicolured Land in the world through the story - Colour Bleed

Colour Bleed is a 3 part transmedia story that combines dance with a well crafted script and spans Film, ARG, Social Media, Graphic Novels and Live Performances to create an enthralling, exciting, mind blowing experience. 

It's the story of two people trying to dance the colour back into the terrible evil of a grey world 

The Impact

I want to bring colour back into everyones lives. We're all struggling to live through the financial depression plaguing our world - I want to give the world a moment to escape into the joy of experiencing in Multicolour Land! 

What We Need & What You Get

In this campaign, we are trying to raise money to create the first stage of Colour Bleed

This first stage will be three fold -  

• To shoot a short film that tells the story of a dance battle to bring the sparks of colour back to Multicolour Land
• To create a live dance performances - of colour battles, to be taken around nightclubs and youth centres around Wales (which will be filmed and spread through the online social sphere)
• To create a short Graphic Novel that tells the story of the colour crystal - that powers Multicolour Land

For the short film, we have already secured the services of Dawns TAN the largest community dance organisation in Wales, alongside a highly experienced choreographer, and will be funding their involvement ourselves

We need to raise funds to shoot the short film (locations, equipment, transport, food) and to this end we are looking for $3000 to fund this strand

For the live dance performances, as above, we have secured the services of Dawns TAN - the largest community dance organisation in Wales, alongside a highly experienced choreographer. We will be funding the filming of these performances ourselves

For the rehearsal costs, transport, venue hire, food and equipment - we are looking for $2000

For the short graphic novel, we are already in discussions with several up and coming graphic artists, and are looking for $2000 to fund this part

The overall goal for stage 1 is $7000

As this is a dream to bring the colour back into the world - if we don't reach the goal, we will use any funds raised to shoot short colour dance films, using mobile phones, to begin spreading the idea of colour throughout the social online sphere. we will also use any funds available to create taster colour dance battles in various live venues around Wales

Further stages for the project include an ARG - where players will try to gain access to the Grey Lands nerve centre - culminating in a live performance streamed across the web

There will also be a series of Interactive Films (where the viewer will be given the opportunity to follow the story of their own chosen character, alongside playing that character in an online game set in Multicolour Land)

There will also be a Pervasive Game - for players to experience anywhere in the World

Further plans include iPad apps, console dance mat games and a large scale worldwide participatory Multicoloured Dance performance in venues across the world & streamed online
