Collin
was grew up in Estacada, Oregon where he enjoyed living amongst
nature and playing high school football for the Estacada Rangers.
Thereafter, he moved to New Jersey and earned his BA in Urban Studies
at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Rutgers University. Upon his
return to Portland, Collin started the Cascadia Commons Benevolent
Society project, and to ensure its advancement, Collin Ferguson
became President of the Board at the Cascadia Education Project,
501(c)(3) providing Cascadia Commons tax exempt nonprofit status.
Recently,
he graduated of from the Six Week Sprint at the Portland Ten
(Portlandten.com) and gained vital political experience as a
volunteer for the Sam Adams Campaign for Portland's Mayor. Collin is
eager to bring his entreprenurial activism to Cascadia Commons,
collaborating with his fellow co-founders to advance bioregional and
deep ecology principles and will preserve,
protect rehabilitate
the Cascadia Bioregion.
