hello Friends!
I have begun recording a brand new studio album entitled “COLOUR-IN LIFE”
with the intentions of having it finished by February 2010 (tight time-line!!)
just in time for The Winter Olympics in Vancouver/Whistler Canada B.C
I have shows every night of the Olympic Games.
Also in March of 2010 I will travel to Toronto for a showcase show at Canadian Music Week 2010.
So it is obvious I need to have this done by then so we can launch it to the world.
One problem…
we need some money to finish it.
So I decided to put my pride aside,
and ask people who want to to see this CD come to life for donations
and in return those people who do donate will receive SPECIAL PERKS

There are different price points and I have labeled them like this.

I have never asked anyone for money,
apart for my parents when I was younger
to go buy Pearl Jam’s “Ten” on cassette :)
I was actually not a fan of the idea of asking friends and fans for donations.
Then I found this website here “Indie go go”
and i saw that you can offer people that donate special perks and rewards for donating,
and the fact that it won’t be able to happen
without your gratitude I am now giving it a go..go ;)


I will be trying to raise $5,000 dollars for the making of this album.
money will go towards:
Studio Time
Pressing and Printing
Promotions
Graphic Design


DEADLINE FOR FUNDING IS JANRUARY 31st 2010
(as it needs to go to press the next day to be out by the Olympics!)

As an full-time independent musicians there is alot we can do now for ourselves,
Long gone are the days when we need a record labels to do things for us.
We are the digital revolution and it’s far more organic and honest this way!
If YOU have belief, then we can make this album sprout, break through the soil and grow into the Mighty Willow I believe it is :)
