A cookie delivery girl keeps visits a lonely young man who never leaves his home. He does not remember having ordered the cookies. On her way out, he somehow musters up the courage and asks the girl to stay for tea. After an awkward silence, they reach to themselves, and finally use the backdrop of his dark living room to invent a precious sunny day out on Cobblestone Street, feasting on ice cream and dancing a waltz in the sunset. Innocent love blossoms until a painful event from the past shakes the young man into a seizure and into oblivion, forgetting the whole evening ever happened. The girl patiently keeps coming back, only to try again.
