Our Story
My name is Laurent Cousineau and I am the founder/creator of Climate-Change-Guide.com, a website that covers all aspects of climate change and one that will help you build a sustainable future.
My website has been online since late August 2011 and needs more funding to help it expand. I plan on making my site reach millions of people around the world. Already, I am receiving thousands of visitors (about 100 a day) from over 80 countries.
Essentially, the more money I get for my site, the more time and resources I could spend on it in order to help it grow. This campaign will take place for several months and since its on the internet, it will take place around the world and will include anyone who is willing to help.
The Impact
As I have said, my site is currently receiving about 100 daily visitors and is growing rapidly.
In essence, I have already affected thousands of people and could help many more.
Climate Change is mankind's greatest challenge and millions of people are already facing the reality of extreme weather around the world (my site has more information on this).
If this campaign fails, not as many people will receive quality information on climate change and the world will be facing the dire consequences.
What We Need & What You Get
The money will be spent on maintaining and upgrading my website. Some of it will be spent paying annual/monthly fees that my website currently has. Also, the money will be spent on getting graphic artists and other experts to help it grow (new design, new professional videos, etc...) as well as some advertising.
I have already spent most of my budget and it has already worked really well : my site is now ranked in the top 1% of all websites.
Just a 5$ donation will have a strong impact as 5$ could do a lot. For instance, with 5 dollars I could get an advertising firm to get me over 250 likes on my Facebook Page or I could get a new professional YouTube video (using fiverr.com)
