Chris is an Australian-born, 24-year-old maker-of-films, taker-of-pictures, writer-of-words, player-of-music, designer-of-graphics and creator-of-art.
Having always worked simultaneously within several mediums, Chris pertains to be a multi-disciplinarian. Notable bodies of work include the short-experimental film T H E S P A C E B E T W E E N, which was exhibited at the National Gallery of Victoria and screened at several experimental film festivals in Melbourne, Sydney, Berlin and Hamburg; The Haptic Series of video loops that explore Gilles Deleuze’s notion of visual tactility, as well as Julia Kristeva’s writings on semiotics.
Now living in Kenya, Chris has become involved with the burgeoning Kenyan Film Industry, namely as a cinematographer and film editor. Having edited the feature film “From A Whisper” and shot on M-Net’s documentary on Nobel Peace Prize winner Wangari Maathai, Chris is currently working on several projects in film, music and television.
