The Story so far...

I began laying down tracks for my 2nd instrumental solo album (The Axis of All Things) about 2 1/2 years ago, beginning with 4 days of drum tracking at Sound Crew studios with John Romeo, with whom I plan to mix the album before sending it to mastering with Lord Tim of the bands LORD and previously Dungeon.  Guitars and bass have been recorded in various locations and makeshift studios, and I'm 95% done with tracking! I'm sorting out some guest appearance tracks for the album now and will have everything done soon! 

Musicians include: Peter McDonaugh (Damien Leith, Sophie Seraphino) & Gordon Rytmeister (Glue, Aust. Idol band, countless sessions!) on drums, Nate Apparati on bass, guest guitar performances by 2011 UK Guitarist of the year Rick Graham, Rock-fusion legend Brett Garsed, and Australia's premier metal singer/guitarist Lord Tim (LORD, ex-Dungeon) and possibly more to come!


I wrote the music for this album while basically living out of my car in 2008, and the music reflects the struggles and eventual joys I've experienced while writing it.  


So far I estimate that I've put over $5,000 into the studio time used already, the musicians, and some small but necessary recording gear upgrades.  This however has not allowed any funding for mixing, mastering, pressing etc.

I've scheduled the new album's release for August 1, 2011.  With your pledges and my own saving, we can make this deadline and I can get this new music out to you, because I've know you've been as impatient as me!  I will not rest until this album is in your hands (ask my wife if you don't believe me!!!)

Instrumental music at the best of times is a niche market, a market neglected by the masses and the media, and I do this because of a need inside me to create it, but with the way of the world, it does take money to make this happen. 

I hope that existing fans, new fans, and non-paying downloaders of the past will see this as an opportunity to a) see where the money goes in making an album and b) get in on the ground floor of an exciting new way for artists and fans to work together!
