An award winning, critically acclaimed young writer/director
Charlotte is an award winning, critically acclaimed young filmmaker. She wrote and directed her first film Mona at only 17. Mona was accepted into a number of festivals including St Kilda and Byron Bay Film Festival, it was nominated for 7 awards including a nomination for Charlotte as Best Young Australian Filmmaker. Mona won Best Youth Film at St Kilda Film festival (The Oscars of short film in Australia) making Charlotte the youngest director to ever win an award at the prestigious festival. Mona also won Best Youth Film at the Blue Dandenongs Film Festival and Best Production Design at the SA Short Screen Awards. In 2008 Charlotte completed her second film Smoking Kills Fairies and worked on over 10 short films and TVCs as a production designer.
