Carl Sprague is a designer and filmmaker. His association with Mrs. Wharton's work began as assistant art director on Martin Scorsese's "Age of Innocence". Since then he has done design and art direction work for a wide variety of film projects including "The Royal Tenenbaums", "The Social Network", "Amistad", "The Buccaneers", and "Moonrise Kingdom".
