Our Story

Cardboard Mansions script was inspired by true events when I was homeless twenty-three years ago. I was homeless for almost three months, I was one of the lucky ones to had gotten off the streets, not like the ones I left behind, the forgotten ones that walk among us everyday. The experiences of being homeless and living on the streets was a very short time, but it opened my eyes and changed the way I think of them. Not all homeless people are looking for a hand outs, some just need a hand up.

The Impact

What We Need & What You Get

Wild Kat Productions needs your help to be successful. As an independent feature film, its success is entirely dependent on how much money is raised before principal photography begins in late October. We need $75,000 to get our production off the ground and running. The money will be used to pay for production costs such as equipment rentals, props, wardrobe, location permits, transportation vans, picture cars, gas, accommodations for some, and feeding our great cast and crew.

Please take into consideration that some of the cast will get paid for their appearances as well as some of our crew, however the pay is well below normal scale rates, but they do it for the passion of telling the story. Our ultimate goal is $75,000, but any donation is appreciated and will be put to good use.
