We are following as children from soccer empowerment programs in poor and violent communities around the world gather at the Football for Hope Festival—an official event of the 2010 World Cup. We would like to get the children easy to use video cameras so they can document their lives before the festival, during and after.
We would like to create a website where we invite filmmakers and children to document these organizations and experience, and post the videos to create an international dialogue between children in sports-for-change programs around the world, and help to inspire more children to change their lives. An online community for change!
We will start with 6 children — 2 from 3 different continents. But we hope to expand it beyond that! You can help them document their transformation into global youth leaders!
