Our Story
Confession is a story of survival. Set during the second world war, a Nazi solider decides to go against the belief of the Third Reich and try to help a Jew escape from an execution and into Allied territory.
The Impact
Although we are students, we want to tell a story that is powerful, engaging but most importantly one that we can all relate too. Rather than filming your typical student film set in the confines of an apartment, we want to try something entirely different. We want to shoot a World War II drama at the age of 21. But behind all the action, there is a deep story. One that you might have heard of, but never seen portrayed on film, and we plan on changing that. This film might take place during the second world war, but it is dedicated to all those that have lost their lives in the many wars fought during our time and to those that went against their government in order to do what was morally right.
What We Need & What You Get
While we have big goals and even bigger dreams, they cannot happen without the help of money. This project requires the help of not just a dedicated crew and great actors, but also the everyday person that believes in the story. We want you to be a part of something that you can be proud of. To know that rather than spending money on that expensive meal, you made a dream become a reality. Here is a breakdown of where your money will be going:
1 Custom Tailored SS Uniform - $900
5 Nazi Soldier Uniforms - $500 x 5 = $2,500
Weapons - $700
Tent Material, Wood, Nails, etc (for Nazi base camp) - $1000
Camera Rental (With Lenses, monitor, etc) - $1500
Sound Rental - $650
Post Production (Computer, Software, Plug-ins, etc) $1000
Generator - $600
Food for 8 people - $100 a day x 6 days $600
Housing for cast and crew - $80 a day x 6 days $480
Gas and misc items - $500
Crew and actors are all working for free, taking off from work and school because they believe in the script and want to show the world a different side to the same old story.
Other Ways You Can Help
Besides your donations you can also spread the word. The more people who will hear about it, the bigger the fan base the more authentic of a war film it can be. You can also help us by donating any materials you think might be of help to us during the shoot. Any and all help will greatly be appreciated.
