The TPIR-stories we have collected offer a hilarious and lighthearted glimpse at a truly unique staple of American popular culture as devotees live their American dream.

Since its inception in 1972, the Price Is Right has drawn hundreds of thousands of Americans to Hollywood with visions of cars, exotic trips, shiny appliances, and a televised fifteen minutes of fame. This heartwarming and hilarious documentary celebrates game show culture, the American dream, and the infectious excitement of four-generations of 'TPIR' fans.

An Independence Day ‘Quote of the Day’ from “Come On Down!”
I get on the stage and I was so excited. I popped Bob a crisp salute, because he was a sailor, you know, he was in the Navy and he obviously recognizes that I’m a marine. He said, “Alright, let’s play your game.” The big doors open and out comes this beautiful bed; it’s a nice waterbed." |
