ATTACHED serious INDIAN actor (seen in MERCHANT IVORY film opposite British actor Linus Roach) to play an Arab. TALKS with BRITISH TV actor for Irish male lead & AMERICAN Indie DIRECTOR of FILM NOIR movie since attained cult status.
STEP 1
SIDES – a SHORT FILM adapted from the original feature screenplay CHOOSING SIDES, is being made using funds collected here for presentation to investors and the Independent film festival circuit in order to leverage funds for the award winning FEATURE FILM.
The screenplay “SIDES – the short”, is in place and the casting process for the tier 2 cast and crew has begun.
REQUIRED – Around 20k to bankroll the SHORT and take care of promotional/marketing/other expenses with regard to the film festival circuit. We have reason to believe this is a more attractive low risk option for the individual first time non-traditional financier.
READY TO GO – Keeping in mind our tier 2 talent, director/producer and crew are all local to Los Angeles (unlike our tier 1 cast of International name talent from India, England, Ireland and the Middle East) we are in a position to begin shooting ASAP upon receipt of said funds.

In development - CHOOSING SIDES - an independent, full-length, feature film for traditional worldwide, Theatrical, DVD, and Television distribution. All ancillary markets and new media to be fully exploited as well.
To fund our FEATURE FILM we will use a hybrid of community financing & proven traditional sources.
Group/community financing raised here (20k) will account for 20-25% of our FEATURE FILM'S budget. Around this will be wrapped the conventional financing package - in the range of 700k to 1.5m in units of $70,000, to produce and deliver the independent FEATURE FILM, CHOOSING SIDES.
Ten units of 70k will green light the FEATURE FILM project at the low budget level of 700k.
2. The process of raising additional funds is a fluid one.

With that broader goal in mind, we have devised an indirect STEP BY STEP process where SIDES - a SHORT FILM is made for presentation to studios/investors and for the Independent film festival circuit in order to leverage funds for the FEATURE FILM.
