About Me

 

          Bryant Anderson, a filmmaker from Cleveland, Ohio began his film career by working on many local projects as an actor and assistant director. Andersons first film, a student film titled Tri which he produced, wrote, and directed is a silent black and white three-minute micro short about a college male dating three women. The college male once caught for his dating prowess is gang beaten by all three females.

          Andersons second film Finale which he also produced, wrote, and directed is a thirty-eight minute urban drama about two brothers. One is a drug dealer, the other a homosexual dying of Aids. The brothers argue and debate about important issues such as religion, thug life, and homosexuality. In the end, one of them goes to meet his maker; Finale was a selection at the fourth annual Urban Media Makers' film festival in Atlanta, Ga.

          Andersons third film Get Him, also produced, written, and directed by him, is a thirty-minute crime story about two detectives pursuing a serial rapist. Get Him was a selection in the 2007 Akron Film Festival in Akron, Ohio; it was also a selection in the 2007 Indiegathering Film Festival, which it placed third in the Crime/Drama category; Get Him also aired in Cleveland, Ohio on Cox Cable Indie film on demand, Indie Club Meeting and the Underground Night Club. Get Him also appeared on the October 2007 pages of the Cleveland Independent Film website. In promotion of Get Him, Bryant Anderson appeared on the December 2007 show Wake up and live with the arts, which broadcast on Time Warner Cable in Cleveland, Ohio.

          Bryant Anderson expanded his range in 2008 by co-producing, co-directing, and appearing in the rap music video Feel It by Cleveland, Ohio recording group The Blackout Crew; Anderson also directed several episodes of Emmy award winner Alex Michaels Prelude 2 Cinema Studio television series Out of Darkness, which aired in Cleveland, Ohio and has its own website.

          In 2010, Bryant Anderson released his fourth film titled Random Violence. Produced, written, and directed by him Random Violence is a fourteen-minute intense urban drama, about a random attack upon five college students in their off campus apartment by two street thugs. Random Violence was a selection at the fifth annual Film Fest 2380 in Akron, Ohio. It was also a selection in the 2010 Indiegathering Film Festival, which it won an award in the Crime/Drama category.
