Who are you? And why do you want to come to Wisconsin? 

Most of you probably already know - but I am a left-wing political comic and activist. I make a web series called "Moment of Clarity" that has been calling for anti-corporate protests for months. I was at Occupy Wall Street on day one. I also did a live performance at Occupy Wall Street, which you can watch on my YouTube channel. I've performed at OccupyDC, OcccupyMontreal, OccupyOhioUniversity, & OccupyToronto. All of my performances have been done for free, simply because it's my way of helping the cause and people seem excited to have me perform at Occupy encampments. In the past 3 months, I have received more requests to come perform from people in Wisconsin than anywhere else. You guys are the best. SO I want to come perform for you - in several different cities in mid-November. 

Why are you trying to raise $1700? 

The reason I've been able to perform for free at other Occupy locations is because I already had shows in the area that were paying me to come. I performed and gave speeches at Ohio University, for example. However, Wisconsin is different because I have no shows coming up in the area. BUT I still want to come see you all. So I'm trying to raise enough to do that. $1700 - will cover everything for a week long trip: flight, rental car, gas, occasional hotel room (if I can't find a volunteer to stay with or an extra sleeping bag), and maybe a few bags of peanuts. I give my word that I will walk away from the trip with very little money (if any). 

Where will the shows be? And are there any special rewards for donating? 

There will definitely be shows in the major cities. However, it will depend on how strong the Occupy encampments are in a given area. If I can't find people to contact at a specific Occupy then it's possible I won't be able to come there to perform. The shows will vary in length between 15 and 30 minutes - depending on the circumstances and how long each particular encampment wants me to perform. If you donate $25 or more, you get a photo with me, a hug, and a kiss on the cheek (especially if you have a beard). If you donate $55 or more, you get a free signed copy of my comedy album "Chaos for the Weary."

One Other Thing

I ABSOLUTELY do not want the funding for my performances to take away from any other needed activist cause. So please do not donate to this IN PLACE OF donating to some other political organization. My goal in this trip is to bring some energy to the encampment sites. It IS NOT to take away much needed funding from other causes.
