Booby Traps

A trailer so titillating, it puts the "ew" in "boob."

What it is:

Booby Traps is a feature-length comedy of disgustingly absurd proportions. It tells the tale of the lovely ladies of Tau Nu Alpha Sorority who, while forced to spend the night in a creepy, old house, unleash an unspeakable evil that picks them off one-by-one...by attacking their breasts. Booby Traps: It'll get you in the end. In the front.

The film pays loving tribute to the women-in-peril slasher films of the 1980's, while also taking a few joyful jabs at them. The look and feel will be straight-up 80's horror: synthesized music, gross clothing, ill-timed thunderstorms and all the boobs and blood you can handle.

How We Need Your Help:

In order to realize our dreams of shooting the feature, we're taking a cue from Doris Wishman (the late, great "Godmother of Porn") and shooting a trailer for Booby Traps to show potential investors. Just like the feature, the trailer will be jam-packed full of jaw-dropping hilarity and amazing make-up effects. (In addition to some very elaborate gore scene set-ups, the actors will have custom-made breasts attached to their chests in order to better get impaled, mangled and sucked in vacuum cleaners. C'mon...you know you want to see that!)

And this is where we need your help! The cost of make-up effects, equipment, food, and transportation really adds up. The location is secured, the actors have been cast, and the crew is anxious to dive in.  We have a lot of extremely talented folks working on this so we want to be sure everyone is treated right.

Who We Are:

Shawn Green (writer/director) is a graduate of Temple University's film school and the prolific writer and director of multiple shorts. Booby Traps will be Shawn's feature directorial debut.

Holly Lynn Ellis (producer/actor) was the producer, co-writer and star of Prairie Love, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011 and will be distributed nationwide in 2012.
