BloomBars is asking you to take 3 minutes to make a tax-deductible online donation to help us sustain our "Garden of the Arts" and nourish the artistic "seeds" we are planting.
All proceeds from this fundraiser go towards funding day-to-day
operations at our all-ages community arts space and provide a platform
for independent artists to be nurtured.
For almost 3 years now, BloomBars
has been nurturing artists, building community, and shedding light on
some of the greatest challenges we face as a human race. We started out
small, with monthly events that brought new life into the old print shop
we call home.
Since then, weve partnered with more than 1,000 local and international non-profits,
using the arts to draw attention and resources to issues like HIV/AIDS,
child poverty, hunger, global warming, gender violence, obesity,
racism, xenophobia, human trafficking, homelessness, illiteracy, and
education, to name a few. We offered our stage as a platform for artists
to experiment and share their creation, but also to engage audiences to
think about how our collective efforts can have a greater impact on
society.
Today, we organize, book, host, and sponsor 12 regularly scheduled events each week, 9 regularly scheduled monthly events, and numerous one-of-a-kind workshops, classes, concerts, exhibitions, performances and teach-ins.
What cant be measured, however, are the number of smiles, inspiring
moments, and opportunities for growth and transformation by people of
all ages, races, and identities who have shared in the BloomBars
experience.
And weve done it all without a dime of sponsorships, grants, or outside funding. Call
it a gift that can no longer keep giving unless you can support us
today. Please dont hesitate. The risk is real and imminent. The need is
sincere and dire.

perception of a bar: we dont serve alcohol and encourage all ages to
attend our events to create more meaningful human connections.
