Our Story
As a female horror writer, I wanted to create a terrifying story for women - a story that could only be told from a woman's perspective with no stock characters or gender exploitation. I wanted strong, feminine characters both in my protagonist and my villain; the kind of women who make the Devil say, "Oh crap, she's up!" the second her feet hit the floor in the morning, and yet women who feel disarmingly real. I believe every woman can relate to the questions raised in this film about motherhood and our fears surrounding it, and my hope is that it scares the shit out of you.
Shot entirely in Austin, TX, this story was made possible by the help of many talented artists.
