Ten years in the making, we are launching our next movie, Billboard an Uncommon Contest for Common People! Billboard is a cross platform, multi-part, trans-media project based around a feature length comedy, where the audience participates in its creation over the course of a year and a half. The audience can simply view the finished movie or become more immersed in the project by taking part in a multitude of outlets that crosses over from social media to the movie to live events.

The Story

Why would four people give up everything to live in a tent, thirty feet in the air, on a catwalk, eight feet wide by forty-eight feet long, to enter a billboard sitting contest to win a mobile home and nine-sixty hundred dollars? Desperation? Greed? Attention? Escape? No matter what their reasons, Clarence Lindeweiler is trying to capitalize on them to save his struggling alternative rock radio station WTYT 960.

At first a laughing stock of the community, Clarences hair brained scheme to drum up listeners garners national attention, pulling his radio station from the ratings basement to number two. As the contest wears on, the novelty wears off and ratings start to dip. Clarence takes the do anything approach to right his sinking ship, however his shenanigans backfire. The community and media turn on him. Calls ring out to end the contest but success has gone to Clarences head. Who will become the lucky contestants? Who wins the grand prize? Tune into WTYT 960 to find out.

How & Why

The majority of the movie will be shot in Lehigh Valley, PA and 15 other cities throughout the country. We are attempting to make the production as green as possible, using bio diesel powered generators, reusable water bottles/coffee cups, digital media for the release, etc.

Through our Indiegogo/Fractured Atlas campaign we hope to raise ten percent of our production funding. We will seek community involvement every step of the way. Keeping true to our independent state of mind and DIWO spirit, we plan on releasing the movie the same way we distributed InSearchOf, theatrically, VOD/PPV, digital download, DVD where millions of people around the world have seen it.

We are looking forward to teaming up with companies across the country for product placement and sponsorship opportunities. Imagine your company logo as the backdrop of a movie. Your logo/brand could appear on all promotional and marketing pieces and digital assets for the movie Billboard. Now thats a cinema firsttrue movie/brand integration!
