A young boy wanders through the East End of London as day breaks. His oversized clothes drape over him like a shroud. We will come to know the boy as Big Boots.
As Big Boots meanders aimlessly through the streets of London he makes some interesting encounters along the way; encounters which will both test his character and penultimately have a profound effect on his young life.
Big Boots is a powerful, moving “portrait miniature” of pre-adolescence, rebellion and betrayal; a film which will intrigue, move and emote without histrionics or intense drama. It is an intimate story, imbued with warmth and humanity and guaranteed emotional impact.
