‘Beyond the Son’ is the exploration the first ten years of the Zaki Gordon Institute through the eyes of the students, faculty, and administration, from the early days to the present. The film is entirely made by the documentary class of the 09-2010 school year as the midterm class project over a 3 week period and incorporates live interviews with archival footage shot by every class over the ten years, as well as a short narrative re-enactment for the opening sequence.
