Our Story
Bellow Literary Journal is an independent print journal which collects the finest cerebral output of today. We will publish poetry, short fiction, plays, bits of conversation, micro-fiction, and visual art.
The Impact
We want to challenge the intelligence.
Our Bellow is a collective one. Each page will flow seamlessly into the
next, incorporating every medium at our disposal and redefining the relationship between sound, text, and visual art.
What We Need & What You Get
Right now, Bellow does not have its own legs on which to stand. For the time being, it's standing precariously at the gates of a literary graveyard. For Bellow to make it, we're asking for small contributions that will finance: 1. Marketing and advertising; 2. A launch party with refreshments, food, and readings at the Maple Street Bookstore, New Orleans, LA; 3. The ability to buy our own books from the printer! This way we can sell them ourselves and hope hope hope to break even.
We have perks!
To become a 'Bellower', donate at least five dollars, and in return, you will receive credit on our official website for officially being a part of our creative process.
To be 'Howling Mad', donate at least 20 dollars, and you will receive a free copy of the journal upon its completion, as well as a reserved seat at our launch party at the Maple Street Book Store. If you cannot attend due to foreseen illness or geography, let us know, and we'll leave your seat open.
To be a 'Philanthropist', donate at least 75 dollars to receive two free copies of the journal, a reserved seat at our launch party, and credit on our website.
Other Ways You Can Help
If money isn't your thing, you can help us by directing your rich friends to our website, www.bellowliteraryjournal.com, or to this campaign.
