Social gaming is freakin’ huge.  People are spending billions in games like Farmville to build fake farms that grow fake food to serve to fake people.  It’s unbeelievable!

So what if there was a game that was just as fun and addictive as the most popular social games and it actually did real things in the real world?  Things like building a schoolhouse in Haiti... protecting polar bears in the Arctic... and serving meals to hungry children in America.

Well... that’s Bee*kin!
 
What is Bee*kin?

Bee*kin is a next-generation social gaming platform that combines the addictive elements of Farmville, the crowdfunding techniques of IndieGogo and the quirky characters of Angry Birds... oh yeah, and the goal of the game is to save the world.

Through a partnership of the best brands, the brightest stars and the most respected nonprofits, Bee*kin generates funds, awareness and action for causes around the world... and you get to win real rewards for yourself!

Bee*kin is going to change the game?  Literally.   

 

So who the heck are the Bee*kin?!?

The Bee*kin are the cosmic relatives of both human and bee.  Human beeings... if you will.  And they are coming to help us build a better world.  

But the Bee*kin can’t do it alone.  They need our help.  You see everyone in the world is connected to their very own Bee*kin.  When you beefriend your Bee*kin, you’ll team up to do good in the world.

And don’t worry, the Bee*kin ain’t buzzkills.  They’re wild and crazy and are gonna put the "fun" in fundraising.


How does it work?

Players partner with their very own Bee*kin to lead an elite squad called The Bee*Team on a series of missions that feature fun games and addictive activities.  Players contribute small amounts and take simple social actions that, when added up, will make a big impact.  Along the way, players get points they can redeem for virtual and real world rewards (including brand gift cards, avatar items and special one-of-a-kind offers like backstage passes to concerts by your favorite artists).

What We Need & What You Get

Since the goal of Bee*kin is to use crowdsourcing to help save the world, it seemed like a natural fit to seek some of our funding through crowdsourcing.  By helping to fund Bee*kin, you'll have a hand in creating an amazing machine that can raise millions of dollars for causes around the world. 

Right now, we're looking to raise $30,000 to help us complete the prototype.  We've been in production for several months and can tell you that the game is gonna be awesome.
