BeHeld is the third full-length album of musician, poet, and filmmaker Ayla Nereo.

It is accompanied by films telling the story of each song, and live projected video at each performance.
It is a journey of storytelling and sound, told in words and moving images.

These songs are full of life. They want to be out in the world.

But Ayla will need a little help from her friends if that's going to happen.

What You Get, and Where the Funding Goes

Every donation helps carry out the many parts of producing and distributing BeHeld, as well as funding Ayla's newest videos for the album.

You are welcome to donate as much as you are able, and can choose whether or not to receive a gift.
You can also choose ANY GIFT of equal or lesser value to what you donated.

These can also be holiday gifts, birthday presents, valentine's day surprises - any gift can be given to another!

If you'd like to give a friend or family member any of these offerings for the holidays, Ayla will email you a special gift card you can give to that person, describing what they'll receive.

By helping raise these much-needed funds, you will be enabling Ayla to not only create and finish this album (costs of recording artists, mixing, mastering, and CD manufacture) but will also help to bring it and it's video components around the world.


I want to honor these songs, and all those who have supported me from the very beginnings of my songwriting, by making this album shine.

For the first time ever in my career, I am working on creating professional recordings, full color album packaging with lyrics, promotion, as well as touring nationally.
Album production and distribution costs are immense, and this fundraising campaign is actually only a small portion of those costs -- but if I can reach this goal, it will be HUGE in turning these plans into reality.

On my own, I don't have the funds needed to master and distribute these songs.
And so I reach out, to share with you the opportunity to be part of the music.

And if I surpass my $8,000 goal, I'll be able to share this music even more widely.  I work closely with children and adults, teaching songwriting and creativity workshops, and would love to incorporate a workshop event into each city in which I perform on tour.
