Being part of this inaugural electric race on US soil is incredibly exciting, and feels like being part of the future while making history at the same time. The technologies are rapidly evolving and being part of the pioneering into electric propulsion territories is nothing short of awesome!
The Mavizen TTX02 is a state of the art machine, built in EEngland based on an RC8 KTM chassis, and it will be the only Mavizen on the grid at the Infineon race on May 14-16, 2010 for the first round of the TTXGP at Infineon Raceway!
The Werkstatt Race Team will put Jennifer Bromme on the grid on this first ever zero-carbon motorcycle race series! The objective is to show that electric motorcycles are viable, fun, and the future!
But we need your help: We need to raise about $10k or more (the batteries alone are $15k) for the season so we can commit to the complete race series, which will take place in 4 venues in North America. If we place in the top 8 we will get to race internationally, battling teams from the UK and Italy in the grand finale in Spain!
Thanks to all that have contributed in our previous fundraiser! The motorcycle is now here and we are prepping it as I write this but this is only the beginning of our historical journey. We continue to ask for your support. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help us reach our goal of competing in the grand finale in Spain later this year. It’s simple to get involved and together we will make history!
