About Me

My career path is traditional to artists. Non-traditional. Jobs included everything from dog-washing (afghan show dogs, thank you), to nannying (more of a calling than a job), to founding a nonprofit project; writing every step of the way. And then illness brought me back for the first time, to my first love; movies.

Bakery Films is my baby, slowly built over four years; slowly because I started with zero experience and zero contacts; but more importantly very near zero strength. I have a neuroimmune condition which severely limits my ability to function. Despite obstacles created by mi vida loca (the past four years have brought; increased health problems, six moves and their attendant stress and insanity, loss of loved ones and (certified) crazy roommates); from my bed, using a phone, a computer, internet connection and (clearly) massive doses of divine beneficence, My hope is that I'm in the process of creating something extraordinary.

I want to create the new Woman Pictures. In the 30'
s and 40's there were magnificent roles for women actors; big stories with bigger characters. I want Bakery Films to be considered a legitimate heir (heiress?) to this tradition of filmmaking; writing, producing and developing projects grown up women will love to watch and characters any grown up actor would love to play.
