Our Story
With a passion for film, two brothers born and raised in the Oak Cliff suburb of Dallas created Rise Above Productions, and are currently in post-production on their debut film, By Man's Hand.  This action-thriller short is based on the feature screenplay written by the older of the two brothers, Rock Williams, an actor who was inspired by his work on the 2010 feature Cell Mates, starring Tom Sizemore, to pursue his dream of independent film making.

The Plot
When science and religion are carelessly entangled by a secret cloning project, one man skirts death while trying to save humanity from an unnatural apocalypse.

The Impact
Our intention is for By Man's Hand to create more awareness and opportunities for not only Rise Above Productions, but for writer/director Rock Williams, and the extensively talented cast and crew involved.  In the process, we want to pay it forward and promote the creation of jobs for future independent filmmakers, writers and actors who live their passion for the arts.  With this campaign we offer the opportunity for YOU to contribute and become a special part of this unique and exciting film.  We could certainly use your help!

What We Need & What You Get
