My Story

After a lifetime of writing and producing music for many incredible artists, I have finally written an album for my own voice. "The Breakdown of a Break Up" is an album pulled from my own experience. When my marriage of 20 years came to an abrupt end, my solace was writing these songs.

Let me tell you a bit about them...

I had performed 'Love Wouldn't Lie to Me' many, many times before my marriage ended.  When I first performed it after my break up, I nearly fell to pieces. I suddenly understood on a whole new level why women used to come up to me in tears after hearing it. 

'Emily' is the song to the other woman. I hope she never hears it.

'The Truth' is about all the little lies you tell yourself to get through the moment.

'Mistake' allowed me to be as angry as I needed to be. It was the song that saved me from eating ice cream in my pajamas.

This is a collection of songs for everyone who has ever loved and lost, and developed a sense of humor along the way. It's the complete story. The moment you meet. The moment they leave. The self-deception, intoxication, accommodation and sheer madness of love.

The Impact
