BAWIFT began as Cinema Chicks in February 2001 and is now a community of over 850 women mediamakers from all over Northern California. In May 2003 we became Bay Area Women in Film and Television (BAWIFT), a chapter of the Women in Film and Television International network. In May 2008 we turned 5 -
