Starring a hot, fresh young cast and using state of the art, cutting-edge videography, "Awkward Embraces" combines the fall-down funny geek humor of "The Big Bang Theory"--only from the female perspective--and the steamy seductiveness of "Sex in the City" with a relevant, "we've all been there" twist.

The series follows the dating adventures and misadventures of three L.A. girls who prove that just because a girl is hot, it doesn't necessarily follow that she has a man, or even that she'd know what to do with one if she got one.  Jessica, the Star Trek/comic book geeky girl, seems to always say and do just the wrong thing at the wrong time to the wrong guy, proving that, well, "Nerdy girls need love, too."  

The Impact

Awkward Embraces is a fully independent production.  In the nine months since we released our first episode, we have over 57,000 views, 784 Facebook fans, and 1,191 YouTube Subscribers.  With the release of Season 2, we hope to far surpass these numbers in an effort to secure funding for future episodes through corporate sponsorship or investors.
