Hello

My name is Martha C. Wilson and I love to paint.  I have been painting since a teen, so since I'm 53 now, that's a lot of years.  To view more of my art you can go to my website www.LaughingVolcano.com . 

What I want to do is raise enough money to get into one hospital and start to make an impact helping heal people through art.  I would achieve this goal by painting art and murals in hospitals.  Wherever hospitals will let me paint, I would love to paint.  Bright and positive images with healing powers of the mind, body, soul and spirit. 

The Impact

The impact of this campaign can have an endless presence on children and their families.  The consequences are all good, there is not a limit to the joy that my art can give to others.  My motifs include leaps of faith girls and boys, suns, dancing figures, butterflies, fish, trees, flowers...boundless images that are constantly getting notice of others at my art shows - I'm always hearing HAPPY and JOY.  My art makes people feel happy.  Happy is good.  Joy helps you heal.  

I will continue to pursue this new path of mine and will be successful.  This is what I've wanted to do for a long time, and now is the time! Please help me by donating to help me paint in hospitals.  The first $200 I raise will get me into one hospital.  All I need is supplies money and an open door.  If you know of a hospital in the Los Angeles area that would be willing to let me paint (or at least pitch!), please let me know by contacting me at martha@laughingvolcano.com . 

What We Need & What You Get

I'm looking to raise at least $200 - this will pay for my materials, transportation and a small donation for a family in need.  While I am there I can raise awareness for donations and the continuation of painting happy art in hospitals all over. If I raise $1,000, this will allow me to go into 5 hospitals. 

As a donator  - your PERK will be a hand painted tribute included in the mural.  This could be a secret message through art, a cloud painted with a name or initials, or a symbol or word.  The bigger the donation, the bigger your tribute.  

My inspiration comes from my joy in my faith in God.  Because of Him, I am whole.  He heals me.  Through me He has given me the gift of art and I want to give that back in hopes of giving someone a smile, sense of joy, a feeling of hope.  Please see my art at my website www.LaughingVolcano.com
