Our Story

I am a struggling artist living in the beautiful countryside of Oconee County, Georgia. Unlike many artists who have a second income, I have none due to numerous health problems. I spend most of my time at home, creating my art, looking after my teenage daughter, and trying to keep my health in check. I have zero income and make very little from my art in this economy. But that's okay. All I want is to be able to keep creating my art.

I have a huge collection of blank Artist Trading Cards (like the pack shown right). With your subscription I will send you 1 Art Card a month for an entire year! This will be an original watercolor painting, measuring 2.5 x 3.5 inches. It will come housed in a clear, protective sleeve. A 1 year subscription costs only $20.00.

Once you subscription begins you can expect to receive the first art card in about a week (US Subscribers), included will be your coupon code for Etsy. International subscribers should expect their art card in approx. 10-14 days.

The Impact

With your subscription I will be able to buy new supplies and tools I desperately need and have no way of buying in the immediate future. It will mean I can keep creating and sharing my art

What I Need & What You Get

I need $800.00. 

1. My laptop is not doing as well as it once did. I use my laptop for editing photos of artwork, selling online at Etsy, and even creating digital art. If I lose my laptop, I lose my lifeline. I want to buy a refurbished laptop for $390.00.

2. The camera that I photograph my artwork with has begun to flip out on me. I spend hours trying to get a good picture. I want to buy a new camera for $200.00

3. I would like to spend $150.00 to help stock up on art supplies--paints, a real easel, new brushes (not the cheap ones that fall apart after a couple weeks), etc.

4. The remainder I'd like to invest in my Etsy Shop, Nature's Charms. I want to transform it into a business, a successful selling shop.

If I only make part of my goal I'll use some of it for art supplies and put the rest in savings for a laptop. I must have the laptop if I want to continue selling online.
